Obituary

Jerry Katayama, 93, died May 5, 2009, He was born in Ogden, Utah, graduated from the University of Utah, served in the Military Intelligence Service during World War II at Leyte and Okinawa. He later worked as a metallurgist for the Schwinn Bicycle Co. Jerry was an active bowler and golfer.

His father F.R. Katayama, mother Hisa Katayama and brother Taro predeceased him. He is survived by his sister Michiko Aoki, two nephews and a niece.
