Obituary

Esteban S. Yepez, 68 passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 26th, 2009. Born in Jalisco, Mexico in 1940 he immigrated to the US at the age of 17, resided most of his life in the Chicago area and in Las Vegas for the last 11 years. Esteban was a retired telecommunications electrician and an avid soccer player. A devoted husband and father, he is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Irma; his four children, Esteban (Elena), Irma (Gregory), Laura (Mikky) and Robert; and his five adoring grandchildren: Olivia, Katarina, Generose, Rafael and Max. A wake will be held for him on Tuesday, June 2nd from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Lakeview Funeral Home 1458 W. Belmont, Chicago, IL 60657 773.472.6300. A special mass in his honor will be held the following day on Wed, June 3rd at St. Teresa of Avila Church at 1037 W Armitage Ave., Chicago, IL 60614 773.528.6650.
