Yukiko Takata, 91 years old passed away April 30, 2008 in Prescott Valley, Arizona. She is survived by her son Dennis, daughter in law Roberta, grandchildren Kacie, Keith and great grandchild Ryan. Daughter Carole, son in law Curt Gach, grandchildren Brian, and Kimi. And brothers Jim and Ben Tanouye. Sister in law Annette Tanouye. Nieces and nephews. Yukiko Takata was born July 4, 1916, in Sultana, Calif. Married Saneo Takata on October 5, 1939. In November of 1942 during the war she had a son, Dennis in Fresno, California. She then joined the rest of her family in a relocation camp. From 1942-1945 she was in Rower and Jerome, Arkansas. After camp she relocated to Chicago on the south side with her husband, son and parents. They lived on South Lake Park for a while then on 6400 S. Ellis. She had her daughter Carole in 1947. Moved to the North side sometime in 1950s. She started working in 1957 until about 1983. Her husband passed away in September 1965. She then lived with her mother on the North side. Then in 1981 she and her mom moved in with her son and his family on Aldine. She lived there with her mom until she passed away. Then lived there by herself until 1997 when she moved to Elkhart, Indiana with her daughter, son in law and grandchildren Brian and Kimi. Then in 2006 she moved to
Prescott,Arizona with her daughter and family till April 30, 2008 when she passed away. She is survived by her son Dennis, daughter in law Roberta, grandchildren Kacie, Keith and great grandchild Ryan. Daughter Carole, son in law Curt, grandchildren Brian, Kimi. Brothers Jim and Ben Tanouye. Sister in law Annette Tanouye. Nieces and nephews.
