On behalf of the 232nd Engineers both here on the mainland and in Hawaii, I wish to offer my sincere condolences to the family of Seishi 'Jack' Isoda. My father-in-law was George Yamada of the Los Angeles Engineers and was very active with the group until his death in 2004. George did live in Chicago for a few years after the war, got married there and had their first child in Chicago. He returned for the Reunion in 1976, we have a great picture of him marching down the street with all the Engineers, I hope that Seishi was able to attend.

I have been working with a group here in L A called the AJAWARVETS Memorial Alliance and we have a web site with a Registry of all the men who served in the 100th, 442nd RCT and the MIS. The address is www.ajawarvets.org.
