Obituary

On Monday, June 9, 2008 Pamela Jean Murtaza (nee Riley) of Chicago, IL and Springfield, VA at Virginia Hospital Center. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 12 years, Murtaza Solangi. She also leaves behind her dear mother Kay J. Riley of Chicago, IL and Martinsburg, WV; her sisters Debra Riley-Moore of Martinsburg, WV, Patricia Riley-Lumpp (David Sr.) of Chicago, IL and Hagerstown, MD and her brother John M. Riley of Chicago, IL. Pam was a most wonderful Auntie to Sarah Riley and David Lumpp Jr. of Chicago, IL and Hagerstown MD. Mrs. Murtaza was an active human rights and democracy campaigner. She was a beautiful, generous and loving person who blessed the lives of all who knew her. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 12 at 7 PM at the Pakistan Embassy 3517 International Ct. NW, Washington, D.C. 20008. 202-243-6500 Interment is private. Funeral services are being handled by the Lakeview Funeral Home of Chicago, IL.
