George Ewmett, age 81 of Chicago, beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather, passed away on September 5, 2017 peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born on February 27, 1936 in Brighton, England, born to Archibald (Jack) and Annie Ewmett. He is survived by his wife Susan Foertsch; daughter Kelli Gregory and her companion Ruben Renya; daughter Kimberly Ewmett; son-in-law Tom Castellani; grandson Nick Gregory; grandson Jack Castellani; granddaughter Ava Castellani; sister-in-law Maureen Ewmett, niece Sally Foster and her children, Jack and Lily; nephew Gary Ewmett and his children, Oliver and Georgia;Susan's extended family of three brothers, Doug Foertsch, John (Cheryl) Foertsch and Steve (Susan) Foertsch and three sisters, Karen Hoover, Joan (Dennis) Pilkinton and Jenny (Bill) Perkins and their families. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael Ewmett. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 5-8 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 1458 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago.
