Thomas William Connors, Jr: Age 86
Chicago, IL

Thomas W. Connors, Jr passed away on 09/07/2017 at Uptown Health Care Center in Chicago following a long course of treatment for chronic kidney failure. He was born in Needham MA in 1931, the son of the late Thomas William Connors and Alwilda Brigham Connors. In his youth, he lived with his family in Sturgis, MI. Thomas attended the Michigan School for the Deaf in Flint, MI for his elementary and high school education. He graduated high school in 1951. Thomas moved to Chicago in the early 1960s to study at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in 1967. He was a resident of Chicago all his adult years. He was employed by the US Postal Service. History, art and painting were his passion and enjoyment. He participated in juried art shows and completed several commissioned oil and water color paintings for clients and friends. He is survived by his younger sister Jenny A. Kitsen of Chester, CT.
