Robert E Weed of Chicago Il. Passed away peacefully ...... after a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his devote and loving wife Georgia Weed of Chicago, Il, his beautiful daughters Wendy Scatchell and husband John of Hinsdale Il, Jenifer and husband Roger Greenfield of Northbrook Il.
Grandchildren Alex and Nickolas Scatchell, Samantha and Luke Greenfield.
Loving brother to Rose Randazzo of Boxford Ma. and Paul Lynch of Titus Fl. In addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
He was the beloved son of the late Phyllis Driscoll of Weymouth Ma.
Bob was born in Boston Ma. and grew up in Brookline Ma.
He was educated in the Boston schools, attended Harvard University in Cambridge, where he received a degree in business and art.
He settled in Chicago where he raised his family, developed his business in furniture design and construction.
He thoroughly enjoyed boating with his family and friends until such time when he became ill. Having to relinquish his boat was a sad day in Bobs life.
Bob was a Chicago sports enthusiast yet remained ever devoted to the Boston leagues.
As an avid animal lover, Bob enjoyed his faithful felines, Muffin and Bella, who gave him joy and unconditional love.
This is a man who was greatly loved by family and friends. He was kind, sensitive and caring. A man who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
