Obituary

Nanette Marie Campbell, age 84, died peacefully at St Joseph Hospital on April 14, 2017. Treasured matriarch of the Matthew Joseph Campbell Family and precious sister of Patrice Campbell Turk and Michael (Sheila) Campbell. She opened her heart and home to 10 nieces and nephews and their spouses, 23 great nieces and nephews, and one great-great nephew and one great-great niece. Nanette attended St Bride’s School, Aquinas Dominican High School and Mundelein College. She was a Travel Agent for Auto Europe and American Express in an age when it was unusual for a woman to remain single and to pursue a career. She cherished her uproarious family, delightful friends, devoted neighbors, world travel, first class service, Marshall Field and Company, her fabulous lake view apartment, and Consumer Reports Magazine.
