Obituary

Mr. Yoshio Frank Kawaguchi, 85, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 in Chicago, IL. Loving husband of Kayoko (nee Maeda); beloved father of Yoko (Duncan Robert Anderson) and Takashi; dear brother of Yoshiko Susan (Tom) Matsumoto, Yoneko Frances (Hideo) Kawabata and Yoshino Bernice (Taro) Yoshihara; fond uncle to 7 nieces and nephews; son of the lates Okane and Yoshigoro Kawaguchi. Frank was born in Downey, California on June 27, 1931. He served honorable in the United States Army and went on to specialize in aquarium care and consultation. He continued to work beyond retirement age and everyone that he interacted with grew very fond of him. He will be missed greatly and his friends and family will forever cherish his memory. Memorial visitation from 1 PM until the memorial service at 2 PM on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the Midwest Buddhist Temple, 435 W. Menomonee St., Chicago, IL 60614.
