Obituary

Marjorie Robinson Quandt, 91, of Chicago, passed away October 29, 2016. She was born in Hancock, Michigan, daughter of Albert W. Quandt, Sr., and Alice (Robinson) Quandt. She graduated from the College of St. Scholastica and received a Master in Public Administration degree from George Washington University. From 1946 to 1961, Ms. Quandt worked as a medical record librarian, rising to head of the records department of Wesley Pavilion of Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She subsequently was employed by the US Department of Veterans Affairs, as a member of the management control staff and eventually Director of Medical Administration of the VA. Ms. Quandt was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Alice Quandt and Harriet Mathilde Quandt, and one brother, Albert W. Quandt, Jr. She is survived by a nephew, Stephen Quandt of Florence, Wisconsin, and a niece, Sara Quandt, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. There will be no services. Memorials may be given to The College of St. Scholastica Advancement, 1200 Kenwood Avenue, Duluth, MN 55811.
