Obituary

Emilia June Medina passed peacefully on September 12, 2016 in the loving arms of her parents, Juan and Rachel Medina. She was born on May 14, 2015 and during her amazing 15 months with us, her joyful presence touched the lives of everyone she met. Her life was a precious gift to us that will forever live on in our hearts. Emilia’s family has decided to share her gift of life with others through organ donation.

She is now dancing in heaven with her beloved Great Papa Tony and dearly missed Bill Jackson. She will be immeasurably missed by parents, great grandparents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and playmates. A special thanks to the medical staff at Stroger Hospital for their kindness during this difficult time. A memorial service will be held for Emilia at Lakeview Funeral Home on September 18th, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm. Contributions can be made to her memorial fund or the Gift of Hope organization in honor of Emilia.
