Obituary

Helen Josephine Petersen, age 96, passed away peacefully at her home on December 27, 2015. Treasured Aunt to Wendy (Blair) Underwood, Barb (late Britt) Seely, Bruce (Bonnie) Blake, Ron (Lillian) Blake, William (Lisa) Blake, Don (Kathy) Dority, Rick (Nan) Dority, Pam (Steve) Clemons, Stephanie Rea, and many great nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy (late Wyatt) Dority. She was predeceased by brothers Marvin and Richard and sister, Barbara. Memorial Service will be Saturday, January 2, at First Saint Paul’s Lutheran church, 1301 N. LaSalle, Chicago. Burial will be on January 9 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant View Cemetery in Thornton, Iowa. Arrangements entrusted to Lakeview Funeral Home, Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions to First Saint Paul’s Church would be appreciated.
