Obituary

Hisako Tashiro nee Sato, age 93, passed away at home on April 27th, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Goji. Loving mother of Jean, James (Lorraine), Rose (Steven Cohen), Robert (Dawn) Susan (Kenny Funamura) and John. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth Tashiro. Devoted daughter of the late Matsu and Kyujiro Sato. Preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Umi Hayashi, Tadashi Sato, Makoto Sato and Tomiko Amemiya. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, dear friend to many. Visitation will take place on Friday May 1, at Lakeview Funeral Home 1458 W. Belmont Ave. Chicago, IL 60657 from 4-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 4432 N. Troy St. Chicago at 11a.m. on Saturday May 2. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
