​Johnson, Dolores Magdalene Herdegen,​

Dolores Magdalene Herdegen Johnson aged 92, died peacefully surrounded by her family on April 3. She was born in Chicago, February 21, 1923, the daughter of Michael and Theresa Herdegen. Married to Robert Henry Johnson in 1943 she then moved to Texas. When he died in 1948 she returned to Chicago and was a devoted mother to Michele and Robert . She became a working woman long before it became fashionable.
She will be dearly missed by her children Robert H Johnson(Susanne Dolan) and Michele Arden Johnson Seass(Robert P Seass), her grandchildren J.Christopher Schoen(Melissa Kelly), Thomas Robert Johnson, and Patrick Michael Johnson, and great-grandchildren Jessica, John and Nathaniel Schoen, her sister-in-law Virginia Herdegen and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Robert E. Herdegen, and her grandchildren Andrew Schoen and Jennifer Seass.
Services will be at 10:15 on Saturday April 11 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Glenview IL. Following, she will be interred in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL, next to her husband who has been waiting 67 years.
