We have known and worked with Kirk all our working lives. He was a joy to be around and he will be deeply missed. He always had a smile and a friendly word and a happy dog with him and/or in his boat for a ride.

Dear Roberta,

I am writing to send my thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I had the honor of working with Kirk for many years when I was employed by Kemper Insurance Company and he was definitely one of the nicest people I ever knew. Plus, he taught me so much about the Property field. He was so kind and generous and even took me and my family out on his boat when we were staying at a cabin up in Wisconsin. He will be truly missed by so many people. He had a unique way of making me laugh even during some of my most trying days at Kemper. May you be blessed with only wonderful memories of a very special husband, father and grandfather.

So sorry to hear of Kirk's passing. Please accept my deepest sympathies to his entire family. He truly had an extended insurance family as he was always very well respected in the industry and any business interaction resulted in a lifetime friendship. I remember Kirk's big smile and willingness to always assist. I don't think I ever saw him loose his cool. I learned much from him, and I am glad our paths were able to cross in this lifetime. A star is shining brighter in the night sky, and it's Kirk's smile.
