Obituary

George T. Ito, 89, passed away on 6/14/14. Born in Honolulu, HI, he resided in Chicago with his family since graduating from the U of Washington in 1953. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Sachiko (Ikeda) and his infant son Robert Norio. He is survived by daughters Donna Ito-Ruck (Jozef Ruck) of Menlo Park, CA; Barbara Ito, of Teaneck, NJ; Valerie Ito (Robert Schubert) of Naperville, IL; grandchildren Erin, Alex and Marlies Ruck; Aaron and Michelle Schubert; and sisters Mrs. Gladys Goka, Mrs. Ruth Sato (John Sato), Mrs. Violet Kagawa, and companion Mrs. Martha Miyake all residing in Hawaii. Visitation 11-12PM and Celebration of Life 12-12:30pm Sat. 6/28 at Christ Church of Chicago 6047 N. Rockwell. Interment at Nuuanu Memorial Park, Honolulu, HI. Remembrance to your charity.
