Hello –

I know you do not know me very well as I’m George Christenson’s fiancé and met you for the very first time at Oliver’s wake. I just wanted to let you know that we are both thinking of you all and so incredibly sad for the loss of your boys. I cannot imagine what you are feeling at this point. I left the wake wanting to give you both more hugs and wish there was something humanly possible to say to comfort both of you. I’m sitting here at work and you all are on my mind and just wanted to send you a note to let you know that we are thinking of you both and hope you find solitude and peace deep within yourselves and know that your boys are ok, in loving hands and you will get through this – slowly, but surely. You all will be in my prayers constantly and will be thinking of you.

My sincerest sympathies,

Qynn McHugh

For the Wellman Family:

Mr. and Mrs. Wellman. I wanted you to know how deeply saddened I was to learn of Oliver's passing. I had come to know him through the cute stories that my daughter Amy (Oliver's daytime nurse) shared with me. I know Amy loved him very much.

I am sure that Oliver has told his brother about what wonderful parents you both were. It is my belief that children with special needs are given only to those who have the strength and the love to care for them.

Please know that you both and Oliver will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sandra Simon
