Obituary

Brant Edward Shepherd, 31, died in Chicago on Sept. 16.
He was the loving companion of Audrey Cazes of Paris, France; the beloved son of Eric Shepherd and his fiancé, Laura Morris, and Patricia Shepherd and her fiancé, Jerry Korchak; and the dear brother of Courtney (Rob) Huddleston.
He was the beloved grandson of the late William and Betty Shepherd, and is survived by his loving grandparents, Donna (Bernie) Wood, Gene Cryer, and Cathy Cryer.
He is remembered by his loving uncles, Bill (Mary) Shepherd, John (Kerry) Shepherd, Chris Shepherd, and Steve Shepherd, Mike Cryer, and Scott (Maureen) Cryer, and Chris Wood; his devoted aunts, Kim Shepherd and Elizabeth “Betsy” Shepherd; his uncles’ dear children, Kate, Richard, Emily, Ryan, and Caitlin; Jerry Korchak’s children, Maura and Yuri, and his loving friends around the world.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at Lakeview Lutheran Church, 835 E. Addison St., Chicago. The funeral will begin at 2 p.m.
