Obituary

Mary Calderon January 19, 1945-August 27, 2010. Resident of La Grange. After a courageous battle with cancer, Mary passed away peacefully at her home. Mary was born and raised in Chicago and attended St. Francis Elementary School and Richards High School. She was a lunch room attendant and a baker and Benito Juarez High School.
She was one of five children born to the late Fernando and Rafaela Calderon. Mary will forever be remembered by her devoted brothers Frank and Ralph, beloved children Angela, Maria, Diana, Kathryn and Daniel, treasured grandchildren Victoria, Angela, Maryjane, Jazmine, Juan, Christina, Alex, Teresa, Anthony, Elliott, Daniel and Ava, loving great grandchildren David, Sylvanna, and soon to arrive Lilyana, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.
Mary loved to collect Happy Meal toys, take long walks, gardening, being with her family, having fun with friends and working in the kitchen at Juarez. Mary touched the lives of many people with her kindness and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
Wake will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010 at Lakeview Funeral Home 1458 W. Belmont, Chicago.
Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 11am at St. Francis of Assisi 813 W. Roosevelt, Chicago.
Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery 1400 S. Wolf Road, Hilliside.
